Argentina: There is no political will to respect indigenous peoples

For those who oppose the extractive model: only repression
The Nobel Peace Prize, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, stated that the Argentine Government has a disabled view of human rights and denounced the extractive model advances with repression.

From the Decade of the 70s, Pérez Esquivel accompanies the indigenous peoples of America and, from 2010, has active participation in the defence of the community of Formosa Potae Napocna Navogoh (fist of anteater - the argentinian spring).
"The Government does not want to settle the dispute...", says about the situation in Formosa, and referring to the extractive model (mining, soy), explains: "people say no to these activities, e.g. Esquel or Andalgalá, but the Government says Yes to companies because prioritizes the economic interest above the life of the people".
Pérez Esquivel warning about the crackdown on opponents of the extractive model, alleged that the National Institute of indigenous affairs - INAI - "does not work for native peoples, but for the interests of Governments and not for the development of indigenous peoples".
Don't respect the entire populations, not to respect cultures, devastate the environment, change the way of life of the communities and cause diseases are clear violations of human rights.
