Panama: Native peoples against repressive policy

Constant fighting for life.
Serious violations to human rights and dispossession of its precious natural resources, the indigenous organizations Ngäbe Bukle and Bocas del Toro, after the 1st meeting of leaders, have denounced the repressive policies of the Panamanian Government that, through failure to follow the stipulated agreements and prosecution to indigenous leaders, serve more the interests of transnational corporations that the Central American country.
 
Pointing out the breach of multiple compensation agreements, of freedom of indigenous peoples that unfairly and illegally populate prisons, no medical assistance to those injured by weapons fire, police and judicial persecution, as well as from the oblivion of sanctions against those responsible for the massacre of indigenous people in Bocas del Toro, indigenous organizations Ngäbe Bukle and Bocas del Toro are demanding to the Government, to the judicial authorities and the Prosecutor's Office, that comply with the agreements signed at every opportunity.

Likewise, demands the cessation of police abuse against the indigenous Highlands and the rest of the country.

On the other hand, as a matter of utmost urgency required to not promote the opened of cantines, they require more schools in the so-called Highlands.
