Bolivia: UN in their favor, USA against them

Bolivia decreases their crops, USA increase their consumption.
After the Government of Barack Obama condemned  Bolivia and Venezuela in the war on drugs, noting that both countries breached international counternarcotics agreements, Bolivian President Evo Morales showed the report of the Organization of United Nations (UN), which recognizes that Bolivia has reduced by 12% its plantations of coca, i.e., for the first time, officially there is international recognition that certifies that they have declined such crops in Bolivia, and this is during the Government of Evo Morales.

While the enormous efforts made by Bolivia in the front fight against international drug trafficking, and against the coca crops, is specified with the capture of foreign drug traffickers mainly and the actual reduction of the crops, United States not makes no effort to prevent the growth of the illegal market and mass consumption of illicit drugs within their territory.

The decline in the coca crops in Bolivia is due to a continuous work of eradication has been carrying out the Government during the past four years. It is therefore good news fruit of intense work that the Government must continue, but offering, in turn, viable alternatives to farmers to ensure their achievements.

It should be recalled that Bolivia advanced in its fight against drug trafficking since Evo Morales expelled the U.S. anti-drug agency, DEA in 2008
